From present to future

I’m a geographer and new technology enthusiast (especially concerning e-commerce, marketing and social media), who loves to travel and exploring the world in different ways. I genuinely believe in the meaning of the phrase “stay hungry, stay foolish” and “share with others” – always be eager to learn, to achieve more, and feel free to share it with others.

What’s my story?

STUDIES. I studied geography at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw, Poland. My bachelor thesis was about population change in Africa between 1980 and 2010. It focused on population and migration dynamics in all of the countries, as in the regions defined by United Nations.

My master thesis was also about the demographics but in a different way. I chose to write about the social and economical development and territorial (and cultural, ideological-political, national) identity dispute of Puerto Rico.

ORGANIZATIONS. I was a member of a few students and non-profit organizations but most of my time during studies I devoted to students’ union. First at the faculty, later at the university level. I had specialized in project management, higher education policy, quality of assurance and learning techniques. I also had the privilege to be the head of the didactics commission at the University of Warsaw Students’ Union. And with a great group of people we worked towards improving the quality of studying.

PASSIONS. It could take a while to list all the things but first of all – travelling and getting to know other cultures. Besides my interests in geography I’m vaguely interested in human psychology and coaching. It’s fascinating how we can change our lives merely changing our thoughts or habits.

CAREER. However I studied geography I had chosen a different career path – like probably most of the graduates nowadays. I focused on the things that I always liked to do in my spare time. Main areas of expertise are graphic design (mostly advertisement, branding), research & analytics (especially e-commerce), online marketing and social media.

FUTURE. Without any doubt – always close to passions and interests.
